For its 2025 edition, Cine-Excess celebrates the fortieth anniversary of Stuart Gordon’s Re-Animator (1985), a quintessential cult classic that blends dark comedy and body horror to push the very boundaries of generic acceptability.
We are delighted that Re-Animator’s legendary producer Brian Yuzna will be participating in an exclusive streamed discussion with Cine-Excess delegates, where he discusses Re-Animator as well as his own directorial debut Society (1989).
The Re-Animator streamed discussion slot takes place 5pm – 6pm on Thursday 23 October and culminates with Brian Yuzna receiving a Lifetime Achievement Award for his work on the film, whilst also accepting a posthumous award on behalf of the late Stuart Gordon.
