The UK Theatrical Premiere of Shiver (2011)
Thursday 24th May - 10pm (Odeon Covent Garden)

Cine-Excess VI is delighted to welcome back director Julian Richards for an exclusive UK theatrical premiere of his first US feature film: Shiver. Based on the best-selling serial killer novel by Brian Harper, Shiver focuses on a timid secretary (Danielle Harris) plagued by a vicious serial killer obsessed with finding the perfect female mate. As the limbless bodies mount up, Portland, Oregon detectives mount one last desperate attempt to trap a maniac with a perverse penchant for decapitations. Alongside current scream queen Harris, Shiver also features performances from Starship Troopers icon Casper Van Dien, as well as headlining another show-stopping performance from the outrageous Aussie cult icon John Jarrett (Wolf Creek), as the crazed killer Franklin Rood. The film’s credentials are completed by producer Robert D. Weinbach (from The Mutations and Cauldron of Blood fame), who embarked on the ten year struggle to bring Shiver from script to scream. We are delighted that Julian Richards will be introducing the UK theatrical premiere of Shiver on Thursday 24th May at 10pm.

The screening of Shiver is courtesy of Cyclone Films, with very special thanks to Producer Robert D. Weinbach.

This screening is open to cinema goers over the age of 18, and tickets are priced at £12 each, (£7.50 concessions). The screening is also free to all Cine-Excess VI delegates holding a full or day rate pass.

Early booking is advised. A dedicated Odeon booking line is live from Thursday 3rd May 2012.
