Presenting At Cine-Excess IV

 

The Corporeal Excess: Cult Bodies Conference takes place at the Odeon Covent Garden cinema on the following days:


Thursday 29th April (11am-5.30pm)

Friday 30th April (10am-6pm)

Saturday 1st May (10am-12.30pm)


Below are some brief notes for speakers presenting at the event:


All parallel conference presentations are 20 minutes in length and speakers are requested to observe this time limit to ensure the smooth running of Cine-Excess IV  


Key note lectures are 40 minutes in length and will take place in one of the larger cinema screening rooms at the venue.  


Presentations using Power point sides are encouraged and any presentation material must be in this format.


All presentations will be shown from a PC laptop running Windows XP.


Projection resolution will be 1024 x 768 pixels in a 4x3 ratio only


Power point delivery formats supported are USB flash memory stick, CD-ROM, DVD-ROM only.


Please note that DVD clips used to illustrate talks will be operated by technicians from projection booths at the back of each auditorium and must therefore NOT be embedded into Power point presentations.  Any DVD clips required should be compiled onto a separate single DVD disk with clearly defined points of separation between each individual clip to be presented. All powerpoint slides and DVD Clips need to be sent to Rob Dew at rob.dew@brunel.ac.uk by the 22nd of April 2010 at the very latest.
